Dr. Repp is a native of the Midwest, growing up in north-central Wisconsin. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and practices oculofacial surgery in Davenport, Iowa. Oculofacial surgery is a surgical branch focusing on the eyelids, eye socket (orbit) and tear system. Dr. Repp performs both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Repp attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and studied biochemistry, graduating with highest distinction. He earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Following graduation, he completed an internship at Gundersen Lutheran Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. After his internship, he moved to Rochester, Minnesota where he completed his ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic.
Following residency, Dr. Repp completed an elective two-year fellowship in oculofacial surgery in Kirkland, Washington. The training included a partnership with the University of Washington at Seattle, as well as time at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
The American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a national society dedicated to excellence in oculofacial surgery, a branch of ophthalmology (eye surgery) that focuses exclusively on the plastic surgery of the area surrounding the eyes, eye socket and tear-drainage system. A core mission of the society includes stewarding high-quality training in oculofacial surgery. To ensure the highest standard of training, the society sponsors approximately twenty specialized training programs annually, with sites in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Candidate oculofacial surgeons only begin this rigorous training after they have completed a general residency in ophthalmology (eye surgery) and general medical training.
Oculofacial surgeons are therefore uniquely qualified to perform plastics surgery in the area around the eyes and eye socket, as they have an extensive background and training in the medical and surgical care of they eye.
